I write hard science techno-thrillers about fictional characters and made-up events, but set in the real world of international affairs and of high tech semiconductor industry. The technical and business facts that I ‘sneak’ into my novels are non-fiction, but the drama stories are fiction – intended to keep the readers entertained and engaged. I hope to bring an appreciation, or at least awe, of the amazing technology to non-expert readers.  In a world where we all are so surrounded by ‘microchips’ – from phones and computers, internet and on down to dog tags – this has got to be good and interesting… ’.
